Quiz Night
Tuesday night is Quiz night at the Waggon. The quiz starts just after 9pm but tables start filling from around 8pm so get here early to make sure you're sitting comfortably. Our Quizmaster, Marc, compiles a general knowledge quiz every week covering a range of subjects. On special occassions (such as Christmas or Marc's birthday) we have themed quizzes - some are easy, some are hard but you have to be there to find out! The cost is £1/team with teams consisting of no more than five people (otherwise it's an extra pound) and the prize is free drink vouchers to be spent here with us on whatever tipple (or pint or vino) you prefer.
Once the quiz is done and the winners revealed we play Sticky Thirteens, or Sticky Fingers as the staff call it. It's £1/play and the prize is cold hard cash with winners regularly receiving in excess of £50!
